Alejandra Diaz, Fasecolda (Federacion de Asegradores Colombianos)

Fasecolda is an association which gathers and represents the insurance companies in Colombia and is committed to generate an insurance culture, improve the insurance penetration, give technical assistance to our associates and give support to the insurance industry through different services as surveys, researches, statistic information, etc. Fasecolda also adopt policies and programs to keep and improve good practices among companies.

Microinsurance in one the most important goals of FASECOLDA, regarding it, the association promotes in his companies the importance of microinsurance products to attend the growing demand and tries to identify and remove regulatory barriers with the help of the supervisor and the government.  FASECOLDA also develops surveys to assess the progress of the microinsurance market and promote a Financial Education Program on Risks Management and microinsurance.
