Rupalee Ruchismita, Centre for Insurance and Risk Management (CIRM)

CIRM Design and Research Labs (CDR) and CIRM Advisory Services Private Limited (CAS) design innovative risk management solutions for low-income households in collaboration with state and market players.

It undertakes action and impact research in partnership with international research agencies to develop impactful and sustainable risk management solutions, to further CIRM’s goal of Safety Nets for All.

The company engages in building a facilitative environment through sector capacity building and policy advocacy, backed by its training and dissemination efforts; to help achieve scale.

Our portfolio of action research and design projects are in the space of health, agriculture, livestock and natural catastrophe where we collaborate with sector leaders in the insurance space  and intermediaries like NGOs, MFIs, Banking Correspondents, hospital network and private dairies. 

We have also built a national databank and formalising collaborations internationally for replication.
