Pascale Le Roy, Groupe de Recherche et d'Échanges Technologiques (GRET)
Pascale Le Roy is an economist specialized in health policy and financing. Pascale has been working in the health microinsurance sector since 1999 when she was designing and managing SKY health insurance scheme in Cambodia from 1999 to 2003 for the French ngo GRET (Groupe de Recherches et d’Echanges Technologiques). Then she became a consultant for the programme STEP in ILO and for GRET, performing feasibility studies to design health insurance schemes (Senegal, Haiti), developing technical manual and training modules. In 2006, Pascale joined WHO to become the technical advisor for the development of the Community Based Health Insurance scheme under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health in Lao PDR. Back in France, she became a consultant again for GRET, the ILO Microinsurance Innovation Facility, as well as for the Aga Khan Microinsurance Agency (Pakistan). Since May 2011, Pascale has joined GRET head office in Paris to become the microinsurance programme manager. Network role: Member
