Associate professor of research methods and methodology at the School of Management and Governance, University of Twente (retired since Nov. 2009).

Specializations are designing research, generally questionnaire based, and statistical analysis.

Daily activities concern the supervising and teaching of PH.D. students, advising NWO (Dutch Science Foundation), advising on methodological matters, and doing empirical research in microinsurance (Phillipines, Ethiopia), networks and knowledge transfer.
