James Jones, Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services at Illinois State University

Jim is Executive Director of the Katie School of Insurance & Financial Services at Illinois State University, at Normal, IL. He works with faculty, administration, and industry professionals in helping to develop and prepare talent for the insurance industry, develop and facility industry professional development workshops, and conduct and supervise research and consulting for the industry across various disciplines in the College of Business, Actuarial Science and Economics departments.

Prior to coming to Illinois State University, Mr. Jones held the position of Director of Center for Performance Improvement at the American Institute for CPCU at Malvern, PA. where he conducted research and reported on best practices of insurance organizations. He also served as Director of Claims Education where he was responsible for working with insurance industry in developing and maintaining curriculum for claims practitioners and managers.
