Bert Opdebeeck, BRS (Belgian Raiffeisen Foundation)

The Belgian Raiffeisen Foundation (BRS) supports local initiatives related to saving, credit provision and insurance in Africa and Latin America. The cooperative Raiffeisen principles are a constant source of inspiration for BRS to offer the necessary support to microfinance and microinsurance projects. The key aim is to assist these organisations to move towards achieving autonomy.

BRS offers its partners a financial and technical assistance through a unique link with Cera and KBC Bank and Insurance Group.  

BRS is also a member of MASMUT and ICMIF.
