Academic Lecture Series: Microinsurance with WWB and the World Bank
Thursday, 18 March 2010, the Concepts Meets Practice Symposium at St. John's University (Manhattan Campus) focused on microinsurance and brought together students and industry professionals in a setting that facilitates the exchange of ideas.
Invited were Rodolfo Wehrhan, the World Bank, and Anna Gincherman, from the Women’s World Banking (WWB) as well as Scott Goodell from Guy Carpenter to dicsuss the current state of microinsurance and emerging issues.

Microinsurance at the Microfinance Club UK with MicroEnsure
Wednesday, 17 March 2010, Aaron Oxley from RESULTS UK joined Richard Leftley from MicroEnsure in speaking about crop and health microinsurance to the members of the Microfinance Club UK.
The event was held at the Morgan Stanley offices in Canary Wharf, and people were being turned away due to the popularity of the subject. There is huge demand for people to learn more about the exciting area of microinsurance, and the answer session lasted a half-hour longer than scheduled.

MicroEnsure seeks Vice President, Finance
MicroEnsure is currently looking to fill the post of Vice President Finance. Working with the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, the VP Finance will be responsible for developing and managing the financial reporting and control processes for the MicroEnsure group. The candidate should have formal accounting qualifications (ACA or ACCA or similar) with five to ten years experience.
