Microinsurance Network launched
This Microinsurance Network was launched on November 8, 2008 and will replace the CGAP Working Group on Microinsurance, established in 2002 by donor organisations, multilateral agencies and other interested parties that are involved in the promotion and support of microinsurance in developing countries.
The Network's main objective is to facilitate information exchange and stakeholder coordination to increase the availability and impact of microinsurance as risk management tool for vulnerable populations.
