Finalising the framework - Social performance indicators for microinsurance
The Performance Working Group of the Microinsurance Network, with ADA, BRS, BMZ/GIZ Social Protection and Grameen Crédit Agricole Microfinance Foundation, organised in July 2012 a second workshop in Germany on social performance indicators for microinsurance with 18 practitioners from around the globe.
The aim was to finalise the framework for the social performance indicators by combining the results from the testing phase in 2011, with the practical knowledge and experience of the participants. The resulting framework and indicators aim to be both relevant and practical for use as a management tool for practitioners to assess their social performance.
The outcome will be presented at the 8th International Microinsurance Conference in Tanzania on 7 November 2012. Click here for more information on the agenda of the conference.
