<title>Working Group Pages</title>
<link>http://www.microinsurancenetwork.org/network2.php</link>
<description>The Microinsurance Network is organised into different expert groups: working groups, discussion groups and task forces. These groups provide the forum for undertaking specific reflections and activities that help to bring forward the Network's mission.
The key roles are shared with those of the Network:

Put an issue or a topic on the agenda;
Share learnings and exchange expertise;
Generate knowledge; and
Reach out to different stakeholders.

Currently, the Network has three types of groups to respond to the different types of exchange members have established:
Working groups: Several Network members are working together on a topic or an issue based on annual (or pluri-annual) workplan and budget. The work or activity is integrated in the strategic framework 2012-2017, and its workplan. In addition to the above mentioned roles, working groups also implement a joint project or programme.
Discussion groups: The Network members want to address a topic or an issue through exchange of experiences and brainstorming on related questions. The result of the reflections can be published as articles or papers but the group has such has no joint project.
Task forces: The Network members tackle a topic or an issue through a concrete project, which is driven by an intra-working group core group. The group dissolves once the project has been finalised. In addition to the above mentioned roles, task forces can also implement joint projects (temporary).
More information about the individual groups' activities and mode of operations on their webpages below.</description>
