Past activities

This Working Group was working on a financial education module on risk management and microinsurance targeted at low-income households, which was part of the Financial Education for the Poor programme, a global initiative led by Microfinance Opportunities and Freedom from Hunger.

After completing its primary objectives, including publishing the demand research guidelines, the Demand Working Group proposed that they be incorporated into the Operations Working Group in 2007, which would enable them to focus on market research for the purposes of product development.
