The Funders Discussion Group aims to improve collaborations, share lessons and maximise effectiveness of funders.
NewsThe discussion group met at the Network’s member meeting in June 2012 in Königstein, Germany, and decided to change its name from the Donors Discussion Group to the Funders Discussion Group in order to broaden the scope of its members, including investors as well as donors.
Annual workplanIn 2012, the discussion group will:
- Identify difficult issues around funding needs and guidance by organising a discussion on the identified issues and engage in a consultative process (e.g. guidance paper).
- Convene FMO, IFC etc. to explore concrete opportunities for involvement in microinsurance.
