Thierry van Bastelaer from Abt Associates took over the facilitation of the group in March 2011 and reconfigured the group to focus on insurance products. Four meetings were held throughout the year to identify the objectives, share lessons on specific technical issues, and review the group’s outputs.
The working group received seed funding from the Network for an initiative to build an inventory of health microinsurance plans and lessons learned, which will be completed in 2012.
