In support of the discussions held around ICII 2025 in Quito, Ecuador, a LATAC edition of the report was released in 2025, drawing on data collected in 2024. Published alongside The Landscape of Microinsurance 2024, this Regional Report provides stakeholders with practical insights into microinsurance trends across Latin America and the Caribbean, covering eleven countries, as well as the key challenges and opportunities shaping growth and innovation in the region. It complements the global study by offering a deeper, more granular view of national market dynamics and regulatory environments. Both reports are based on the same voluntary, self-declared database contributed by 80 insurers across eleven countries through research conducted by the Microinsurance Network (MiN) in 2024. These insurers reported 345 microinsurance products aligned with the definition used in The Landscape of Microinsurance 2024, noting that classification may differ across jurisdictions where local regulatory definitions vary.
At present, only the Spanish version has been released, with the English edition forthcoming.
