Insurance is a key element for providing protection to households and businesses, whether this be protection against crop failures, illness, changing market prices, natural disasters, theft, or even the impacts of climate change. For vulnerable communities, financial security can be the difference between poverty and prosperity; without it, even the slightest variation to income can push them into poverty.
The Microinsurance Network is on a mission to close the protection gap. Learn more about how knowledge exchange and the sharing of best practices among our community of experts and beyond is helping us achieve this.
